Burnt Spey Hackle by Hareline

This is a kinda cool produce to come out of Hareline Dubbin. They take goose shoulders, burn them, chance are in something like bleach, they then dye them. It produces a feather that very nice spey hackles.
For best results soak feathers in lukewarm water before winding.

Hareline has discontinued this item. I have purchased as much as I can of the little stock they had left, but there is not much left!
